LMS Residential Latin Course: booking now open. 25 to 30 July 2016, Pantasaph, North Wales

The Summer Latin Course organised by the Latin Mass Society with Fr John Hunwicke and Fr Richard Bailey is now taking booking for 2016.Both priests are expected to interpret Church dogmas, documents and doctrine with irrational Cushingism, as do their superiors.
IMG_8458
The dates are 25 to 30 JULY 2016. It takes place in Pantasaph and Holywell, near Flint in North Wales, and shares daily Mass with the St Catherine's Trust Summer School, so there is Sung and usually High Mass in the Extraordinary Form every day.

They will interpret the following passage from the Catechism with Cushingism and you will be expected to do the same to continue with the course.
848 ‘Although in ways known to himself God can lead those who, through no fault of their own, are ignorant of the Gospel, to that faith without which it is impossible to please him, the Church still has the obligation and also the sacred right to evangelize all men.’

Those who 'through no fault of their own, are ignorant of the Gospel' and who are saved- are hypothetical cases. They are zero cases in our reality. But with Cushingism ( there are known exceptions to the dogma) it is explicit, real. So it is an exception to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS) for the two priests and the Latin Mass Society members.

With Feeneyism ( there are no known exceptions to the dogma) it is not an exception to the stricft interpretation of the dogma EENS and the old ecclesiology. It depends on the theology you use at the Latin course.

Fr.Hunwicke and Fr.Bailey are expected like Joseph Shaw and the English Bishops to use an irrational inference. They infer invisible cases are visible. This is irrational. This is the FIUV interpretation. It is politically correct and will the theology of the High Mass in the Extraordinary Form every day at the Course.Even Cardinal Raymond Burke and Bishop Athansius Schneider offer the Latin Mass with the Cushingism interpretation. The dogma of the Faith, which our Lady mentioned at Fatima, has been lost.

They will not affirm the Feeneyite version of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus. So their Traditional Latin Mass is different from the one held in the Catholic Church before the Council of Trent. They now have  a modernised modernist version. They have the ritual and the rite without the theology.

The Course they offer is an intensive 5-day course, Monday to Saturday, using the LMS coursebook, Simplicissimus.

The Latin Mass every day at this Course is similar to the one offered by Cardinal Raymond Burke. It is with  Cushingism. This is the non traditional theology based on a false premise ( dead-saved in Heaven are visible and known on earth) and inference ( these visible-dead in Heaven are explicit exceptions to traditional EENS, so all do not need to convert into the Church in the present times).Simplicissimus.This is the stuff of fantasy. It is  theology based on fantasy and irrationality assuming Catholics in general are simple and naive.

Priests, deacons, seminarians, and those about to become seminarians (and other students) can do the course for half price. The full price is more or less the cost price; clergy discount represents a hefty subsidy by the Latin Mass Society.

Similarly when Bishop Athanasius Schneider offers the Traditional Latin Mass, it is with this same fantasy theology.Simplicissimus. He uses the same irrational premise and inference to discard the old ecclesiology and accept the modernist one as do Fr.Hunwicke and Fr. Bailey.
Pantasaph Retreat Centre

£304 full price with LMS Members' discount

£170 for clergy, seminarians, and students.

It can be even cheaper if you find your own accommodation.

The LMS funds this course at rock-bottom prices because they believe that knowledge of Latin by the clergy, of which most seminarians have been cheated for so many years, is essential for the liturgical restoration for which they are working and of course they support  Cushingism as a  theology which is a break with Tradition. They also interpret everything with Cushingism instead of traditional  Feeneyism. So the two priest's position on LG 16, LG 8, UR 3, NA 2 etc with reference to the dogma EENS is irrational and with a hermeneutic of discontinuity. With Feeneyism LG 16 etc would refer to invisible cases and not visible persons. This rationality will not be tolerated by the liberal bishops and the Jewish Left over seeing the Latin Mass Society.
With Feeneyism there would be no change in the Catholic Church's old ecclesiology on ecumenism and inter-religious dialogue but if Fr. Hunwicke or Fr.Bailey said this in a  public statement they could be suspended and the summer course next year would have to conducted by other appointee- priests, in good standing with their Cushingite bishops.
Denbigh House, Friary & St David's Church
The Latinists at this course will be able to attend the daily Missa Cantata and sung Compline which are part of the St Catherine's Trust Summer School, which will be running simultaneously to the Latin course in another part of the Retreat Centre.
In addition to language teaching, the course participants will have talks on Gregorian Chant, the Latin liturgy, and Latin in Philosophy and poetry.
None of the course participants and priests, will be required to affirm Vatican Council II (AG 7, LG 14) in agreement with the traditional (Council of Trent) interpretation of the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus, which does not mention any explicit exception.Since the Catholic Bishops Conference of England and Wales proclaims Jesus without the necessity of formal entry into the Catholic Church for salvation. It is Jesus without the Catholic Church. There is a split which has to respected.

Pope Benedict and Pope John  Paul II were Cushingites. For them Fr. Leonard Feeney was wrong and Cardinal  Richard Cushing and the Holy Office 1949 were correct. They interpreted all Church documents with Cushingism( there are known exceptions to the dogma EENS).

Pope Benedict affirmed Cushingism when he approved two theological papers of the International Theological Commission, 'Christianity and the World Religions' and 'The Hope of Salvation for Infants who die without being baptized'.

Dominus Iesus and Redemptoris Missio are Cushingite and had the approval of  Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, Perfect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Vatican.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church and Vatican Council II are Cushingite. Since they mention the baptism of desire (BOD), baptism of blood (BOB) and being saved in invincible ignorance (I.I), which are irrelevant to the old ecclesiology and the dogma EENS.

Summorum Pontificum approved the old Mass - but, it was understood, with the new ecclesiology, with Cushingism.

Summorum Pontificum excludes the necessity of formal entry into the Catholic Church for salvation?  Yes according to the Vatican Curia. However if you are an English priest attending this course you  can still offer the Traditional Latin Mass and choose Feeneyism as a theology. You  could affirm Feeneyism and accept Vatican Council II with the old ecclesiology. There would be no break between the present magisterial teachings and those in times before the Council of Trent. The liberals cannot accuse you of rejecting Vatican Council II.The saints Ignatius of Loyola, Francis Xavier, Maximillian Kolbe etc were Feeneyites.
Retreat Centre
This LMS Summer Course is based on the  new ecclesiology, the new theology, it is  irrational. Since it is based on  Cushingism. It is based on an objective and factual error, an empirical error. People in Heaven are not objectively visible on earth.Yet this irrationality is the basis of Cushingism and the theology of this course.

At the time  when the original Good Friday Prayer for the Conversion of the Jews was composed theology was Feeneyite i.e there were no known exceptions to all needing to formally enter the Church. No visible cases of people in Heaven saved without the baptism of water! The visible-dead!

So a priest at this Course can reject this fantasy theology,if he wants to, and he could offer the  Traditional Latin Mass (or even the Novus Ordo Mass)  accepting the old theology, the old ecclesiology. The original Latin one.
Denbigh House
This discerning priest would  accept Vatican Council II and interpret it with Feeneyism ( LG 16 is not explicit and not an exception to EENS, there are no exceptions to EENS).While Joseph Shaw, organiser of the Course,  accepts Vatican Council II, like the English bishops, but interprets it with Cushingism ( LG 16 refers to a visible case in the present times (2015) and so is a break with the old ecclesiology). The discerning priest at the course must reject Vatican Council II interpreted with Cushingism.

He could accept the first part of the Letter of the Holy Office 1949(which is Feeneyism)  and reject the second part (which is Cushingism). He could  accept implicit- for- us- baptism of desire and blood and reject explicit- for- us- baptism of desire and blood. This is rational. It is common sense.

He could  accept the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC 1257) which says the Church knows of no means to eternal beatitude other than the baptism of water. However when CCC 1257 also says 'God is not limited to the Sacrament's, this refers to a theoretical, hypothetical case. So it does not contradict the first part of CCC 1257, which is orthodox and supports Fr. Leonard Feeney.CCC 1257 as a whole does not contradict the strict interpretation of the dogma EENS.
POL St Philomena's House
When CCC 846 says all who are saved are saved through Jesus and the Church, this is acceptable. It does not refer to any explicit exception to the dogma EENS. So it does not contradict CCC 846 which cites Ad Gentes saying 'all' need 'faith and baptism' for salvation.CCC 846 as a whole does not contradict the Feeneyite version of EENS.
So the discerning priest at this Latin Course would be a Feeneyite who affirms the Cathechism of the Catholic Church,Vatican Council II and the first part only of the Letter of the Holy Office. He  accepts the Council of Trent where the phrase 'the desire thereof' refers to a hypothetical case.Similarly the reference to the baptism of desire and blood in the Baltimore Catechism and the Catechism of Pope Pius X also refer to a hypothetical case. They are irrelevant to the 'strict' interpretation of the dogma EENS.It is irrelevant to the orthodox passage in Vatican Council II which says 'all' need 'faith and baptism' for salvation (AG 7, LG 14).
Things couldn't be better. You can have  your cake and eat it too. The discerning course participant accepts the strict interpretation of the dogma EENS, along with implicit- for- us- baptism of desire and blood and being saved in invincible ignorance and he accepts Vatican Council II intepreted with Feeneyism. He accepts the Catechism (1992) in which BOD, BOB and I.I refer to invisible cases ( and should not have been mentioned in the Catechism) and so are not exceptions to the dogma EENS.Vatican Council II is in accord with the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and the pre Council of Trent ecclesiology.
Wow!
